Long story short, it is for just about anyone that has an interest in a really beautiful craft, and wants to learn more about making whisky in a way that:

  1. is hands on;
  2. wants a reasonable chance of creating something insanely palatable as an end product;
  3. wants to be able to say that they joined a cult, but you know - without actually joining a cult.

Is it whisky?

Nope. Though what we end up with tastes like whisky, smells like whisky, looks like whisky, goes through a near identical process of manufacturing as whisky, Whiscult products are not whisky.

This is because - law. And because you need to age your spirit for a minimum of three years.

If you aged your spirit in our barrels for three years, you would end up with something quite unpalatable.

This is because of the surface to liquid ratio that we get with the smaller barrel.

So...and legal has asked us to really stress this to you....this is not whisky!

Is it a cult?

Picture us huddled around a still, swapping stories of whisky triumphs like some clandestine club. Tempted to call it cultish? We get it - it's a vibe. But, let's clear the air: Whiscult is not a cult.

We're just a spirited crew of whisky enthusiasts, united by the thrill of crafting our own liquid gold.

No secret oaths. Just great kit and a shared love for the craft.
